Antarctic Life

A frozen outlook on life on the ice

About

My name is Greig Lawson and I am a British doctor originally from Aberdeen, Scotland. I am currently working for the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) as one of the 4 doctors supporting the research down in Antarctica. I will be based in Plymouth initially for the first 6 months prior to working on the Ernest Shackleton supply vessel which will take me to Halley where I will be situated for 12 months.
I hope to share with you through regular updates a glimpse into what life is like down here as well as providing you with some photos of my experiences along the way.

If you have any questions then please don't hesitate to contact me using the form below and I will try my best to answer in a timely manner.
